About Pepper & Otis

Every dog has a name. A personality. A favourite spot on the couch and a way of looking at you that makes even the longest day feel short. Pepper & Otis was built around that idea — that our dogs aren't accessories, they're family.

Where It Started

The name comes from two dogs: Pepper, a stubborn but deeply lovable Border Collie mix, and Otis, the kind of golden dog who greets every stranger like an old friend. Their owners — like so many pet parents — spent years searching for products that were actually well-made: beds that held their shape, harnesses that fit properly, leashes built to last longer than a season.

They found a lot of average. Not much that was genuinely good. So they decided to do something about it.

Who We Are

Pepper & Otis is a registered company based in the Netherlands. We're a Dutch business — and proud of it. Europe has some of the strictest consumer protection and product safety standards in the world, and those standards shape everything we do: how we select products, how we handle returns, and how we treat our customers.

We chose to serve the US market because great dogs live everywhere — and the demand for honestly made, fairly priced pet products is just as real in Austin or Atlanta as it is in Amsterdam. Selling internationally is completely normal for Dutch e-commerce companies, and we've built our logistics and customer service around making that experience seamless for US customers. Orders are shipped directly to your door, with full tracking, and our support team is available in English.
